This device protects the Li-ion
battery from high voltage
current when short circuit happens.
(C) Thermal Fuse:
This device protects the Li-ion
battery by self-shorting
the fuse when the battery
temperature rises over 90 degrees Celcius
to prevent overheating and
potential hazard in the
events of over-charging,
over-discharging or short circuit
that causes the
battery's temperature to rise
irregularly.
(D) 18650 Li-ion Battery:
18650 Li-ion battery is
a rechargeable battery. "18"
represents the diameter, 18mm,
and "65" represents the
height of Li-ion battery, 65mm.
(E) Power Management IC:
This device monitors the operation
status of the battery. It accurately
calculates and indicates the battery's
capacity with each charging,
re-charging or using of the battery.
(F) Protection IC for Li-ion Battery:
This device detects and protects
the Li-ion battery from the damage
caused by overly high voltage,
results from over-charging, and overly
low voltage, results from over-discharging.
